Whether you have experienced a recent breakup, have a lingering wound from the past, or are struggling to find a relationship, this program can help restore your sense of self and increase your capacity for love.
“Abandonment is the most primal of all human fears,” says Susan Anderson, a psychotherapist, founder of the Abandonment Recovery movement, and author of The Journey from Abandonment to Healing. In this workshop, you will learn a highly effective program of emotional and spiritual healing that includes
- The five stages of grief specific to abandonment
- Five mental exercises that correspond to each stage
- How to overcome patterns of self-sabotage and “abandoholism”
- A mind-body process called “Akeru” that facilitates personal growth and healing
- The biological and chemical processes that underlie emotional responses to loss.
Therapists can also benefit from this weekend by learning a practical approach to use with their clients.
