Lama Tsultrim Allione

Lama Tsultrim Allione, MA, was one of the first Americans to be ordained as a Tibetan Buddhist nun (in 1970 by the 16th Karmapa) and spent several years as a monastic in the Himalayas. She later disrobed, raised a family, and has become one of the most respected Buddhist teachers in the West. Having taught for more than 30 years, she is the founder and spiritual director of Tara Mandala, a retreat center in Colorado. Tsultrim is author of the groundbreaking book Women of Wisdom, the upcoming book Feeding the Demons: Ancient Wisdom for Resolving Inner Conflict, and the audio programs Cutting Through Fear and The Mandala of the Enlightened Feminine. www.taramandala.org
