500-Hour Kripalu Bodywork and Massage Training

340 hours in four 12-day modules, building on the prior completion of Essentials of Kripalu Massage.

Deepen your expertise and ability to provide quality bodywork experiences to a wide range of clients. In this integrative massage training, you will be exposed to tools and techniques from a variety of modalities. In addition to learning therapeutic massage techniques, you will gain an in-depth knowledge of the human body and be introduced to pathology so you can respond to clients’ conditions and begin to incorporate a therapeutic aspect into your work. You will also experience continued exposure to the foundational practices of Kripalu Massage—loving presence, energetic attunement, effective client rapport, body dynamics, and self-care through the practice of yoga.

The four modules that comprise 340-hours of additional massage training must be taken in order but can be taken over time.

The Curriculum
The 500-Hour certification adds 340 Hours to the 170 hours acquired in Essentials of Kripalu Massage.

Five hundred hours is the national standard for professional massage certification and equips you for licensing in most states and municipalities in the United States and abroad. Completion of this training program will prepare you to sit for the National Certification Exam.

NCBTMB continuing education credits

Once you are a licensed massage therapist, you'll need continuing education credits to maintain your licensure. Kripalu Center for Yoga & Health is approved by the National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork (NCBTMB) as a continuing education provider.
